I graduated from University of Oregon with a B.S. in General Science with an emphasis on Mathematics. I spent the entirety of my time as an undergraduate tutoring collegemates, primarily in math and science courses including Calculus, Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Psychology and Economics. Additionally, I led an undergraduate Biology Lab and formulated curriculum and test materials for the main Biology course. With this experience, I expanded my tutoring to middle and high school age, focusing on building academic strategies for future success. I have significant experience supporting students with ADHD and dyslexia, and I’m passionate that every student requires a tailor-made learning experience.
I firmly believe in personalization as the key to unlocking each student's potential. By understanding their unique learning styles, strengths, and challenges, I create tailored approaches to maximize their success. I focus on instilling confidence by fostering problem-solving strategies, study techniques, and critical thinking skills. My goal is to create engaging sessions where challenging, yet attainable, goals are set and achieved.
In my free time I enjoy golfing and taking my two Miniature Schnauzers to the beach.
